Hello Defi family my name is Bruce and welcome to my channel documenting my defi and crypto journey and my investments each step of the way. Thanks for joining me on another video looking once again at the OG of Defi the drip network. While being on this journey in the drip community I have noticed some interesting aspects about some people that are invested in DRIP and what I want to know is WHAT IS YOUR DRIP STORY?
There are many crypto projects launching every other week. They come and they go like yesterdays news. People fomo in and in some cases are left holding their bags. But none are quite like the long lasting defi project of the Drip Network. Drip has been around since April 2021. Not only is Drip one of the best Defi projects out there today but there is also another element to the drip story. This defi project has an air of “underdog” to it or “The Poor Mans Investment with potential for whale returns”. Allowing the little guy (like me and you) to get in and not get rekt by whales dumping on the project.
What is DRIP?
Drip is a Fixed Deposit Vault where you lock your initial investments for 1% daily interest/reward on the deposited amount up to 365%. The bedrock of DRIP is the feature of paying you 1% on your investment per day taken from taxes from interacting with the defi project. You can either pull that amount out and receive your 1% return of the DRIP token per day, or “Hydrate” or recompound your earnings and compound the 1% against the new amount.
If you compound those 1% rewards your returns can be extended beyond 1000x of the money you initially invested. On top of this is a referral and airdrop reward system to incentivize you to bring in new investors and build a team to increase your initial DRIP deposits received from your referrals. A whale tax is in place to prevent whales from dumping on the project allowing the DRIP price to remain relatively stable in any market.
By developing the project this way and allowing the little guy to get in on the potential for passive income and even achieving financial freedom many drip stories have started popping up across the crypto verse. Not only can anybody get in on drip for only a small amount of money but it has also seen the rise of many people using the drip network as an opportunity to help others. One thing that sets DRIP apart from other investment opportunities is that the rewards system encourages people to be generous rather than greedy. In a way the referral system and airdropping reward system naturally incentives people and team leaders to help others as they have been helped through referrals and willing to pay it forward.
In the last 2.5 years many people have had to pivot from there traditional businesses into crypto and find other ways to make an income and we are also now seeing that transition for charities and non profit organizations wanting to use crypto as a funding mechanism largely due to the limitations forced on us by the pandemic and DRIP has proven to be quit the solution for finding that extra funding for charitable projects. There are many stories where drip has helped people find a way to pay it forward.

Shannon is based in Cambodia and created the movement Drip Farming for Poverty and is working towards empowering the impoverished with defi and securing passive income and financial freedom for those with less opportunity to do so using crypto assets. Using both DRIP and The Animal Farm to partner with the Cambodian Children’s fund, Shannon hopes to use funds raised to give Cambodian locals a better life.

Brandon from Drip guide is planning to build a non profit business called Drip Farms in Puerto Rico. Drip farms will self sutainable vertical farms with the end goal to provide low cost fresh organic produce and help feed the planet in a free and sustainable way to prevent starvation around the world. Nobble goal. Brandon will use his earnings from the faucet and The Animal Farm and his tax savings to fund his drip farms project that he hopes to have launched within 1 year.

This comes to my story. I am based here in Indonesia originally from Australia. I came to Indonesia to do 2 months of work in elephant conservation. It has now been 10 years and now run a foundation with my Indonesian wife doing work in wildlife conservation and humanitarian work.
Since the advent of the pandemic our efforts have had to take a back seat while we also focus on saving our traditional restaurant business that has been losing money since the pandemic took hold.
This is why I finally started to look outside the traditional means to create an income. Looking at crypto and defi.
Drip Network for me is a way to get back on my feet, a way to help pay my employees and an avenue to potentially make a difference with my charity work without wasting valuable time and resources looking for funding. While taking this journey with Drip I also see the importance of paying it forward and building as big a drip team as possible to help other people achieve some kind of financial success through defi.
